House to vote on "Trayvon amendment"

Democrats ready to vote to limit your right to self defense.

JayG, please take your blood pressure medication before you click that.

Now would be a good time to call your Representative, let them know how you feel.

Good news (for the short term). The Washington Times is reporting (as of a few hours ago) that the "Trayvon Amendment" has been withdrawn, as it was out of order.

Rep. Keith Ellison (D, MN...yes, I'm drafting a note to him next) say's he'll push for a debate on the issue at a "more appropriate time".

I wouldn't worry about it too much since the Republicans control the House. The House is a winner take all proposition, with the minority party having little power. Unlike the Senate, there is no requirement for "Cloture" or any of that.

Which Nancy "Plastic Face" Pelosi used during her Reign of Terror to stifle all amendments to Democrat sponsored bills.

Hopefully "Speaker Spray Tan" will do the same. Turnabout is, after all, fair play.
