IU hoops fallout

Well, crap:
Indiana's top basketball signee, Devin Ebanks, was released from his letter-of-intent on Wednesday and will explore other options.

Ebanks is considered one of the top players in the country and the cornerstone to the Hoosiers incoming recruiting class. He is ranked No. 13 in the country by, but was snubbed by the McDonald's All-American committee even though sources maintained he received enough votes to be included in the game.
I don't know who the coaching selection committee is going to recommend, or who the Athletic Director is going to name (I'm partial to Coach Tim Floyd, from USC, but doubt he'll leave USC for IU.)

However, I do know this:

He's going to have a long road ahead. Three, maybe four years before IU will have a team worthy of contention for the Big Ten title.
