IU got beat by Duke, the Number 10 team in the country, by three points.
IU shot just under 50% from the freethrow line, at 7/15. Had they managed to shoot 70%, they'd have a tie ball game.
IU had no offenseive flow, and took many bad shots. Had they taken two more decent shots, it'd be a different final score.
IU showed some remarkable intensity in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Had they carried that intensity for another 10 minutes, they could have found themselves with a double digit lead.
IU got 16 points from the freshman Armon Bassett, but only 7 from DJ White. Had DJ scored his season average of 14, IU would be the victor.
All in all, I'm fairly happy. Well, as happy as one can be after a loss. We played like crap and lost by 3 points to Duke at Cameron Indoor. It could have been much, much worse.
